Assess your lighting needs: No two workplaces are the same, and every workplace has different lighting needs. Lights that are too bright or too dim can pose a safety hazard. Use the accurate chart as a guide when determining how many candelas your site requires and choosing lighting fixtures that meet those requirements.
Proper Tower Placement: Place the tower on flat, firm ground and away from overhead obstacles such as power lines and trees. Make sure the light shines in a direction that does not affect the visibility of passing motorists. Tilting the lighting fixtures on the tower downwards slightly minimizes risk to passers-by and provides better lighting for those working on site.
Ground them: Ground your equipment whenever possible to minimize electrical safety hazards. Disconnect the battery cables before working on the engine.
