If you want to brighten your job site, you have several lighting options:
Portable Light Tower: A light tower consists of a generator used as a power source and an adjustable mast containing a set of lights. The light can be rotated 360 degrees to cover a wide area. The towers are towable, enabling you to place them in the ideal position on site. Models are available with mast heights up to 25 feet or more.
High Mast Lights: Long-term construction projects may require more "semi-permanent" lighting solutions than some temporary lighting fixtures can provide. Tall mast light poles can reach heights of 100 feet. The light pole supports a ring of four to eight lights that can cover a wide area.
Balloon Lighting: These lights for nighttime construction work feature a translucent fabric balloon that wraps around one or more high-intensity lights. The upper part of the balloon includes a reflective coating that directs light to the site. Benefits of this type of lighting include less glare and more even distribution over large areas.
LED Lighting: Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting is becoming an increasingly popular choice for construction companies working at night. Compared with traditional light sources, LED lights are more energy-efficient and have a longer service life, resulting in significant cost savings. The LED lighting fixtures are also reusable, lasting up to five years in continuous use applications.
Nite lights: This relatively new option is for sites that need softer lighting. Night lights consist of low wattage metal halide lamps covered with a cloth that diffuses the light across the area. The amount of diffuse light produced depends on the type of cloth.
